NRCC features cocaine monkey in ad against Barrow

The National Republican Congressional Committee's latest ad against Rep. "$820,000 of our tax dollars were spent studying how monkeys respond to unfairness and how they act while on cocaine. Think about that — that's how outrageous the spending in Washington has gotten. Yet it's so common that half the time we don't even notice," a woman with a monkey on her shoulder says in the ad. "Our country is being bankrupted and John Barrow is voting with Barack ObamaBarack ObamaJohn Bolton slams Obama’s ‘shameful apology tour’ Miss. governor to join lawsuit against Obama transgender policy North Korea calls Obama’s Hiroshima trip ‘childish’ MORE to do it. It's time to pay attention."

Barrow has won time and again in his heavily Republican district, though Republicans are hopeful businessman Rick Allen could make him sweat this election. This is the second NRCC ad targeting Barrow.

Barrow has painted himself as a fiscal conservative throughout his career, and has highlighted that mindset in recent ads.
